Brethren,
With only one Lodge meeting in January, one would think that
this would have been a slow month with not much going on in the Lodge, but this
was not the case. The 9th
District School of Instruction was held at Norcross Lodge on three Wednesday nights,
the Grand Master’s Forum was held in Gainesville on another Wednesday night,
the Masters Workshop was held Saturday, January 20th, at the Masonic
Temple in downtown Atlanta, (OUR LODGE WAS WELL REPRESENTED AT ALL THESE
FUNCTIONS) and the Masters Degree was conferred to four candidates at a
called communication on Saturday, January 27.
If you have not received your tickets for our Bar-B-Que on
Saturday, March 24th, and the registration forms for our 6th
Annual Golf Tournament, to be held on April 14th, you will very
soon. These two events are our biggest
fundraisers of the year and have a huge impact on the scholarships and charity
work that our Lodge has committed to, so please make plans to sell as many
Bar-B-Que tickets to all your friends, coworkers, customers, and business
associates, and to recruit as many hole sponsors and players as you possibly
can. If you need more information,
